Job summary

NW Staffing is seeking a maintenance-focused individual for our Forest Grove, Oregon facility. This full-time role features a rotating Wed-Sat and Thurs-Sat schedule, 7:00am-6:00pm, with temp-to-hire opportunities.

The position involves hands-on maintenance across facility systems and production equipment, with a competitive hourly wage of $25.65. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience performing general maintenance, equipment repairs, and preventive maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and facility issues, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and following established procedures and quality standards.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and production equipment, including plumbing, light electrical, painting, repairs, and equipment installations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and monitor equipment and facilities to identify issues, report safety concerns, and help ensure reliable plant operations.
• Support maintenance projects by coordinating with team members, vendors, and contractors while providing guidance to maintenance staff as needed.
• Follow safety policies, maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, and complete additional maintenance tasks to support operational goals.
