Job summary

AmeriStaff is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Virginia to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on plant machinery, including injection molding equipment and lift trucks. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor or General Plant Manager.

This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 6:45am-3:00pm, with pay starting at $15.00 per hour plus DOE. Applicants should have an Associate degree or two years of related experience and be able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed, following

• Ability to interpret technical instructions or prints
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions
• Ability to speak effectively before management/employees of the company.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on plant machinery including injection molding equipment and lift trucks.
• Interpret extensive technical instructions or prints in mathematical or diagram form.
• Follow safety rules and maintain good housekeeping in all areas of the plant.
