Job summary

Fidelis Logistics in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment malfunctions, ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently. You will work with VFDs, PLCs, hydraulics and robotics, use a CMMS to track work, order parts, and document repairs, while following OSHA and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and diagnose faults.
• Familiarity with CMMS for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Hands-on experience with relays, sensors, motors, and PLCs.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on machinery and electrical systems, including VFDs.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues before they become critical.
• Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities, inventory, and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using multimeters and diagrams.
• Replace faulty electrical components (relays, switches, sensors).
• Repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
• Operate and maintain Yaskawa robots (preferred).
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.
• Collaborate with production staff and other technicians to minimize disruptions.
• Communicate maintenance status to supervisors and teams.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and components.
