Job summary

Tosca is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Charlotte, NC Service Center. You will maintain equipment and infrastructure critical to operations, with a day shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We offer a competitive pay range of $30.00–$34.00 per hour, full-time benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, parental leave, life insurance, and disability coverage, plus HSA/FSA options and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and production safety practices, including LOTO.
• Electrical knowledge including schematics, PLCs, 480V/3-phase systems, D/C motors, Yaskawa A/C drives, wiring and control logic.
• Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls.
• Familiarity with boilers and MIG/TIG welding is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and manufacturing system issues in collaboration with the operations team.
• Performing preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Supporting building maintenance (minor plumbing, drywall, painting, cleaning, and general upkeep).
• Identifying and solving recurring equipment problems with the maintenance team.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and Tosca’s internal safety standards.
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of and adherence to the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
