Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold plant equipment integrity and safety. You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot problems, and complete preventive maintenance in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include calibrating PLCs, repairing pumps and valves, and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager to ensure timely completion of projects. A GED is required and adherence to GMPs is essential.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required.
• Pass written test with 75%+ to be eligible.
• Must be 18+ and able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must adhere to GMPs and maintain personal cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
• Repair pumps, gearboxes, valves, steam regulating valves, and related machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to report progress and coordinate tasks.
