Job summary

Goldens’ Foundry & Machine Company in Columbus, GA is seeking a technically trained Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance to support foundry operations.

Strong background in industrial maintenance, ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, and initiative to maximize equipment efficiency are essential. The role requires an Associate degree in electronics or related field, experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and PLCs,

Qualifications

Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret industrial electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Experience with PLCs and electrical/electronic maintenance in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and power transmission systems.
Troubleshoot and read industrial electrical and hydraulic print systems; repair electrical and electronic systems.
Work independently or with others to ensure maximum efficiency of facilities and equipment.
Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance at all times.
Pre-employment drug screening is required.
