Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to solve equipment issues and prevent downtime on Starlink production lines. You will work with engineers to maintain vacuum and thermal chambers, CNC machines, and tooling fixtures, including PLC/HMI controls and mechanical systems.

This role requires staying compliant with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, and detailed repair reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical repair.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Experience with hand/power tools and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair assets to ensure proper operating condition.
• Troubleshoot, repair PLCs, HMIs, CNC controls.
• Troubleshoot, repair mechanical systems like pumps, chillers, gearboxes.
• Perform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
• Provide maintenance on vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, CNC machines, and tooling fixtures.
• Drive forklifts and company vehicles.
• Perform other related duties to ensure an efficient work environment.
