Job summary

Buechel Stone is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. You will handle automated machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Daily tasks vary with maintenance needs and may include repairs or tending to facility machinery. Requirements include an associate degree or technical certification and 2+ years in electromechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in electromechanical maintenance or industrial machinery service.
Strong understanding of electrical systems (AC/DC), mechanical systems and assemblies, sensors, relays, motors, actuators, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Ability to lift objects weighing between 50-100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and test electromechanical systems, components, and equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide setup.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, motors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using testing tools and diagnostic software.
Replace or repair defective parts and recalibrate equipment as needed.
Identify root causes of equipment failures and propose effective solutions.
Work with PLCs, basic control circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and automation equipment (depending on organization).
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and production teams to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support during system upgrades and new equipment integration.
