Job summary

Pratt in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain converting and corrugating equipment and minimize downtime. You will read and follow factory masters, troubleshoot PLCs and drives, plan maintenance work, and ensure safety with proper housekeeping.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, own tools, and preferably corrugated industry experience. Must be willing to work varied shifts and hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successfully demonstrate all Class B qualifications.
• Provide own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds; lift truck license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
• Operate safely and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and drive systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks and assign work as appropriate.
• Complete paperwork neatly and adhere to company guidelines.
