Linamar Corporation in Montague, MI is seeking an Industrial Technician responsible for mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting and repairs of plant equipment and production machinery. The role includes preventive maintenance, adherence to OSHA and Linamar standards, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will work in a casting and machining environment, handle high voltage components when required, and collaborate with production to resolve quality issues

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and Linamar safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant and production machinery.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety guidelines.
• Work with production to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
