Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site operations in Fruitport, MI. You will support on-floor manufacturing, startup automated cells, and perform PLC/HMI troubleshooting to maximize uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include ladder logic programming, PLC integration with cameras and safety scanners, and collaborating with IT for production networks. A high school diploma is required, with basic casting and robotics experience.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of casting operations.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Prior robotic or maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides first response on-floor manufacturing support.
• Communicates with Robotics Safety SPA to ensure a safe workplace.
• Assist in startup of new automated cell installations.
• Identify opportunities to improve uptime and reduce costs.
• Caster PLC programming and troubleshooting, caster robot, MU Robot support and troubleshooting, MU Machine Vision support, MU Cell and Casting Cell changeover.
• HMI programming and troubleshooting.
