Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Richmond, VA to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical industrial equipment on large-scale packaging machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance, support continuous improvement, and ensure safety compliance to keep production running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with 480V three-phase systems and multiple control voltages.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to work during off-shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex production machinery (corrugators, presses, die cutters).
• Program PLCs and maintain HMIs; calibrate sensors and transducers.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and safety policies; document work.
