Job summary
Guardian Glass is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician for our Corsicana, TX site to perform diversified maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical, electrical, controls, and pneumatic systems to meet delivery and quality goals.
Shift is 12 hours with holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and work with tools and meters in a challenging plant environment to
Qualifications
- Experience navigating electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment.
- Experience with 24 VDC to 480 VAC testing using DMM or Megger.
- Experience troubleshooting and installing electrical controls (HMI, PLC logic).
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly diversified maintenance on production machines and plant facilities.
- Diagnose problems and repair parts, test and adjust with limited experience.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC controllers and process automation systems.
- Follow safety and environmental regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, walk, climb, and stand for up to 12 hours in a loud environment.
