Job summary

Pregis is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and facility systems. You will support safe, efficient operations, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement.

The candidate will apply strong mechanical and electrical skills, read schematics, and operate CMMS for maintenance records, while growing technical expertise through training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology or Mechatronics preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience with PLC systems, electrical controls, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and drive systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair situations as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, service documentation, and work orders.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders in CMMS.
• Support maintenance of utility systems and other equipment.
• Communicate issues, downtime concerns, and repair updates with production teams and leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area including the maintenance shop.
• Follow safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
