Job summary

INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility.

Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including washers, dryers, tunnel washers, and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Be familiar with the safe use of all tools (hand and power).
• Must be able to troubleshoot digital and analogue control systems.
• Must be familiar with the use and application of P.L.C. controllers.
• Must have a rounded knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and steam systems.
• Experience with and ability to read a machine schematics.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 60 pounds.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities
