Job summary

Titus Talent Strategies partners with a central Illinois manufacturer to hire an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for Auburn, IL. This hands-on role covers electrical, mechanical, and automation systems within a stable, growth-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years of maintenance experience, PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS familiarity. Welding/electrical certs are preferred; valid DL and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Starting pay is $25-$35/hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and industrial controls knowledge.
• PLC programming/troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley/Siemens).
• Welding and electrical certifications preferred; on-the-job experience considered.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS software and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and care for production equipment.
• Set up production lines and troubleshoot machine problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and handling systems.
• Support building, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Maintain parts, tools, and equipment across departments.
• Respond to work orders promptly and safely.
