Job summary

Kerry Taste & Nutrition in Sturtevant, WI seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, ensuring uptime and safety. You report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective tasks to keep lines running smoothly.

You will work with a team to maximize efficiency, follow Kerry LIFE Safety and GMP standards, and document work using CMMS. A $2/hour shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Formal certifications, an AAS degree, or equivalent education in a relevant field preferred.
• Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
• Experience with load cells, weight displays, metal detectors, pneumatic cylinders, variable frequency drive wiring and parameter entry, bag sealer equipment and conveyors.
• Reading mechanical schematics and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Kerry LIFE Safety, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and processing policies.
• Follow LO/TO procedures when working on equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Ensure smooth operation of machinery and corrective repairs as needed.
• Utilize CMMS to organize and manage work orders.
