Tyson Foods, Inc. in Sanford, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to support the plant's grounds, buildings, and equipment. Training includes Lockout/Tagout before hands-on work and strict safety protocols.

You will perform lubrication and PM tasks on doors and gates, inspect restrooms, lighting, and painting, and coordinate with contractors. Must lift 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision in a manufacturing setting.

Competenze

• Three years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Must be certified to operate scissor lifts and boom lifts; forklift certification required.

Mansioni

• Complete lockout/tagout training prior to start.
• Lubricate and PM doors, door closers, and gate.
• Clean work areas after painting and trimming.
• Assist Safety with eyewash, ladders checks.
• Perform daily temperature checks in restrooms and sinks.
• Inspect lighting and replace bulbs as needed.
• Repair sinks and restroom fixtures.
• Paint, caulk, and patch as assigned.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors.
• Maintain audit-ready areas (pads, back lot, shop).
