Job summary

The Technician – Maintenance 2 at Coca-Cola UNITED’s Atlanta division supports safe and efficient production by troubleshooting and repairing equipment and by performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability. You will train teammates on technical processes and help drive continuous improvements.

This role requires hands-on experience with packaging lines, hydraulics and pneumatics, and the ability to work a 1:00pm–9:30pm schedule within a 10 days on/4 days off rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED or 2–4 years related experience.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.
• Proficient knowledge in operation of continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supports the production team as the mechanical expert.
• Ensures production and support equipment are functioning properly.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment malfunctions.
• Makes repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Performs basic electrical duties (replace motors, switches, PE, etc.).
• Performs package change over on lines as required.
• Trains team members on mechanical process.
• Focuses on continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO GMPs.
