Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. You will service machinery, inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, and reading blueprints, with on-call availability and a focus on safety and quality in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a 3–5 year apprenticeship is a plus.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical components, transformers and wiring.
• Inspect buildings, equipment and systems for issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Repair, dismantle and replace faulty components and parts.
• Operate cutting tools and fabricate machine parts as needed.
• Maintain safety and assist in continuous improvement of maintenance procedures.
