Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a full-time night shift in Claremont, NC. The role runs 12‑hour shifts on a 2-3-2 schedule, with pay from $25.50 to $36.40 per hour and a $1 night differential.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance on ovens, freezers, cartoners, and other equipment. You’ll troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, keep records, and uphold safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read manuals and use basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, adjustment, rebuilding, scheduled service, cleaning and supporting operator on changeovers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical maintenance on production equipment (ovens, freezers, cartoners, wrappers, etc.).
• Maintain housekeeping and organize work areas; keep records up to date.
