Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the day shift at the Claremont, NC facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment across production lines, with a 6-month minimum maintenance background in manufacturing.

The position operates on a 12-hour schedule, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a shift differential for nights as applicable. Benefits begin on day one and include PTO, 401(k), health and other coverage; $1,000 sign-on and $1,000 retention

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of relevant industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all preventive maintenance including lubrication, adjustment, rebuilding, scheduled service, cleaning and assisting operator on change over.
Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production equipment including ovens, freezers, cartoners, wrappers and all other manufacturing systems plant wide.
Maintain proper housekeeping in work area as well as keep equipment clean and orderly at all times
Maintain all required records
Observe and promote all Plant Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
