Job summary

Dutech Systems in Spring, TX seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of NC/CNC and other production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, refrigeration, and other industrial systems, work independently with limited supervision, and maintain a safe, organized work environment with strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing or production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, P&IDs, engineering prints.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot NC, CNC, precision, conventional machine tools, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, refrigeration, and electromechanical systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic schematics, prints, and P&IDs.
  • Use diagnostic and measurement tools to identify equipment issues and determine required repairs.
  • Determine and identify replacement parts needed for equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Perform limited welding, basic plumbing, grinding, soldering, and other general maintenance activities as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pump systems, pneumatic systems, electric pumps, valves, and solenoids.
  • Work with electrohydraulic and electromechanical systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial ovens, heaters, blowers, calibration systems, torque machines, and other production equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, megohmmeters, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Perform pressure testing and work with high-pressure fittings and related equipment.
  • Support the safe operation and maintenance of overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
  • Work safely around high-pressure, electrical, high-temperature, and other potentially hazardous systems.
  • Prioritize work orders and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and production needs.
  • Work independently with limited supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of numerical control (NC), computerized numerical control (CNC), precision, conventional machine tools, and other production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Under limited supervision, the Industrial Maintenance Technician will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, refrigeration, and other industrial systems used in the development, manufacturing, and testing of products. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with industrial maintenance, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot NC, CNC, precision, conventional machine tools, and related manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, refrigeration, and electromechanical systems.

Required Qualifications
