Job summary

KIA Motors Group in Georgia, USA invites a maintenance technician to join our industrial team. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, PLC, robotics, welding, and related systems; rotating day/evening/night shifts; travel as needed; and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Job-related experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to perform physical and exertional tasks and meet environmental factors.
• Position may require occasional travel (domestic and/or foreign).
• Flexibility in working hours including day/evening/night rotating shifts, daily overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Timely response to production line breakdowns and resolve issues safely and efficiently.
• Provide support across Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, Mechanical, PLC, Pneumatics, Robotics, and Welding.
• Install, set up, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Follow safety policies and lock out tag out procedures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Collaborate with team to reduce downtime and implement effective countermeasures.
