Job summary

KIA GEORGIA is seeking a maintenance professional to perform highly diversified duties in industrial and facilities to support automotive production and equipment maintenance. You will address breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance while adhering to safety policies and company standards.

The role involves collaboration with team members, supervision, and continuous improvement activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Job-related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to perform physical and exertional tasks and meet essential position requirements.

Responsibilities

• Timely response to production line breakdowns, resolving problems safely and efficiently.
• Support in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, mechanical, and PLC systems.
• Conduct machine install/setup, diagnose problems, troubleshoot, and repair.
• Follow safety policies and lock out tag out procedures.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance of machinery as scheduled.
• Collaborate with production leadership to coordinate product flow and reduce downtime.
• Understand and follow the KIA WAY and Georgia Production System.
• Attend required training and support a professional team environment.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with team members.
• Communicate quality issues and implement repair/containment procedures.
