Job summary
Elyria Foundry and Hodge Foundry is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on keeping plant equipment running safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating machinery; reading schematics; using CMMS to document work orders; performing welding; and handling
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing facility maintenance focusing on mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment using schematics and engineering methods.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating machinery.
- Knowledge of electrical systems diagnostics and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with CMMS and welding tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics and manuals to identify root causes.
- Use precision tools to verify machinery meets specifications.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics with testing tools and read blueprints.
- Operate scissor lifts safely and follow safety protocols.
