Mohr Talent is partnered with a well-established food manufacturing operation seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic in Bradford, MA. The role offers $30.00–$40.00/hour, overnight shift (4 x 10.5-hour), overtime opportunities, and a strong benefits package.

You’ll perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure maximum uptime. We value hands-on troubleshooting, modern equipment, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, pumps, and packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, relays, and control panels.
• Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and install machinery and components.
• Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs in CMMS.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Follow GMP, safety, OSHA, and LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to improve reliability.

Location: Bradford, MA 01835
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30.00 - $40/hour + Overtime + Comprehensive Benefits
Shift: Overnight | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (4 x 10.5-hour shifts)
Schedule: Must be available to work at least one weekend day

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving motors, conveyors, pumps, packaging equipment, and other industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, relays, HMIs, fuse panels, and industrial control systems.
• Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and install machinery and mechanical components.
• Perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs using a CMMS or similar maintenance system.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, OSHA, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Work closely with production and sanitation teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience , preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, relays, sensors, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Experience

• Food, beverage, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing experience.
• Experience using CMMS maintenance software.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus.
