Dover Chemical Corporation, Hammond Works site- 3000 Sheffield Ave Hammond, IN, is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join our team. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving equipment, vessels and piping across chemical additives production.

Candidates should have 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma (technical school preferred), and the ability to read drawings and install or repair pumps, valves and gear boxes.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing maintenance experience is a must.
• 5+ years proven industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• High school graduate required, technical school education preferred. Chemical industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency reading drawings, manuals, measuring/installing pipe, pumps, valves, meters, gear boxes, and general equipment installation, repair or replacement.
• Must have analytical skills, proven ability to trouble shoot and multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 80 lb occasionally and 50 lb frequently.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
