Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment (mechanical and electrical).
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical education or training preferred.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of process piping for steam, water and compressed air.
• Knowledge of 3‑phase AC circuits, DC circuits and current protection.
• Installation of conduit and wiring.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of motors, motor controls including VFDs.
• Maintenance of control systems with automated controls using switches, sensors, PLC cards and relays.
• Record maintenance work in a computer-based maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional work environment by communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with colleagues and management.
• Perform all preventative maintenance duties and repairs to production equipment.
• Continuously monitor all company equipment for proper operation.
• Regular safe use of industrial hand tools and shop equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
