Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance department by conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing or replacing machinery. You will report to Nexus Circular’s Materials Manager and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of experience in maintenance, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and diagnose issues.
• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform major repairs and machine overhauls as needed.
• Support maintenance vendors with routine visits and CMMS record-keeping.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize downtime.
