Job summary

WireCo WorldGroup is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair machinery at the Rosenberg and Houston locations, ensuring uptime and efficiency. The role involves diagnosing hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance.

Qualifications include an associate degree or trade certificate, 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, forklift operation, and fluency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 2–4 years related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, welding and fabrication systems.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for team, vendors, contractors.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply technical manuals, blueprints, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose issues with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain plant equipment to maximize availability and minimize downtime.
• Follow OSHA safety and housekeeping practices and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repairs and order materials.
• Maintain inventory and records of spare parts and tools.
• Administer the plant's Preventive Maintenance Program and document maintenance activities.
