Job summary

Cascades in Tacoma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running smoothly. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, troubleshoot downtime, and install new equipment.

The role offers an hourly wage of $25.85/hr to $30.62/hr, full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, an employer-contributed retirement plan, profit sharing, and employee

Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing/industrial maintenance environment.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting ability.
Working knowledge of PLC systems (basic diagnostics).
Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Proficiency with SAP or similar maintenance management system.
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
Install new machinery with proper alignment, calibration and functionality.
Inspect and test production equipment for wear or potential failures.
Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and reassemble equipment as required.
Maintain maintenance records, work orders, spare parts inventories, and repair documentation.
Assist in training production personnel on equipment operation and preventive practices.
Support safety and regulatory compliance.
Utilize welding, fabrication, machining, and other skills to repair/create components as needed.
