Job summary

Adecco is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for Charlestown, MA, on 2nd or 3rd shift, to support a nationwide recycling leader. The role keeps heavy production equipment—conveyors, balers, shredders, compactors, sorters—running safely and reliably.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, perform PMs, and document work orders. Requires 5+ years of industrial maintenance, knowledge of 480V 3-phase motors, and own basic tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial/mechanical maintenance experience in production environments.
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with large conveyors (24”+) and replacing belts.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase motors.
• Own basic tools (socket sets, wrenches, cordless drill, grinder, multimeter).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic welding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic production machinery.
• Perform PM’s and installations to prevent downtime.
• Work (solo, or with a team) to keep production on schedule; and use maintenance software to document work orders.
