Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures at our Visalia, CA location. This full-time role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping detailed repair logs to minimize downtime.

You will work with production teams to provide mechanical support while ensuring a safe, clean work environment and adherence to quality standards. 1–2 years of related experience and a High School diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of maintenance, mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial or educational setting.
• ISO Certified / FDA Regulated / cGMP environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance, reliability, Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors and production machines; follow manuals and specs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance history logs for all machines.
• Troubleshoot faults and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with procedures and regulations.
• Provide mechanical support for production personnel.
