Job summary

Pacor Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment at our Gastonia and Bessemer City facilities. This role is primarily based in Gastonia with regular weekly work at the Bessemer City site.

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, and assist with basic building and plant maintenance. Dependability, safety focus, and independence are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Three+ years in industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, HVAC, or related field.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic HVAC/building systems.
Ability to read manuals, diagrams, sketches and specs.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and related systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using manuals, diagrams, and testing instruments.
Inspect, adjust, repair, and replace defective parts and control components.
Dismantle and reassemble machinery safely for repairs.
Fabricate or modify repair parts as needed.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Document preventive maintenance and repairs accurately.
Assist with basic building and facility maintenance and safety procedures.
