Mid-State Machine seeks an Industrial Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and systems in industrial settings. The role requires mechanical expertise, precision alignment, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.

The position involves rigging, diagnostic work, and preventive maintenance across sites with travel and variable hours. A high school diploma is required, and up to 12 hours of skilled labor daily may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years verifiable work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling.
• Demonstrated strong communication and documentation skills.
• Self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Experience in aggregate or agricultural millwright services.
• Capable of skilled labor up to 12 hours a day.
• Able to work on equipment 50+ feet in the air.
• Willing to travel for work with some overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems, and major machine centers
• Read and understand drawings such as blueprints and schematics
• Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Practice safe work habits
• Use of hand and power tools
• Operate shop and maintenance related equipment
• Preform proper alignments of process equipment
• Work with foreman to complete daily tasks
