Job summary

Eco Material Technologies, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment within a facility. This role aims to maximize uptime and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance and skilled troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and accurate record-keeping while coordinating with teams. A high school diploma and hands-on technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
• Follow safety protocols and company safety standards.
• Technical expertise of mechanical and electrical systems; problem-solving ability.
• Ability to diagnose issues using diagnostic tools, observing symptoms, and testing components.
• Proficient with a range of hand and power tools; able to use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good condition and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems using diagnostic tools and expertise.
• Repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Work with electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to coordinate work.
• Keep work area clean and safe; May be on-call.
• Generate and close work orders in operating systems.
