Job Overview

This role involves skilled maintenance, fabrication, overhaul, and repair of mechanical equipment in water or wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and lift stations.

Salary Range

$24.19 - $38.95 per hour

Essential Functions

• Lead and coordinate daily work activities of assigned crew or co-workers.
• Consult with supervisors for work priorities and directions.
• Organize tasks, monitor progress, and inspect completed work.
• Assist with complex problems and provide technical expertise.
• Train and instruct co-workers on operational procedures and safety standards.
• Review system designs, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Fabricate and machine repair parts, weld, and operate various metalworking tools.
• Monitor safety practices and train team members accordingly.
• Input and analyze data from SCADA systems and generate reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a mechanical or electrical trades training program or apprenticeship.
