JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $25 - $35 per hour plus $1.50 per hour

Rotational Night Shift: 6pm-6am or 5am-5pm (2-3-2)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Technician II is an Electro-Mechanical position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, adjusting and repairing equipment, tracking usage of and ordering replacement parts.

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and maintain mechanical machine components
• Perform mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tasks following instructions
• Understand electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, sensors, photo eyes, etc.
• Understand electrical safety, motor control circuits, and programmable drives
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs, repair issues
• Complete projects involving electrical circuits, controls, new equipment, and machine relocation
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems
• Enter all work in computer-based maintenance system
• Monitor and report spare parts usage, complete parts order forms
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and collaborate with QA
• Train new and Level I mechanics in complex tasks and skills

Qualifications

• Associate degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Adherence to safety policies and commitment to quality
• Availability for standby, off-hours, and emergency overtime
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Willingness to attend training, including out-of-state
• Ability to train Level I Technicians
• Intermediate fabrication skills (welding, basic machining)
• Strong work ethic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and graphics
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams, maintain relationships
• Attention to detail in fast-paced environment
• Willing to work overtime as required

Physical Demands

Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility for heavy physical work, exposure to hazards, and use of tools and equipment. Ability to lift up to 90 pounds, walk, handle, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform visual tasks.

Work Environment

Manufacturing facility with moving parts, forklifts, noise, dust, fumes. PPE required based on tasks.
