NVR in Thurmont, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing plant. You will inspect equipment, follow safety practices, and perform preventive maintenance.

The role requires reading electrical blueprints or schematics, diagnosing faults, using lockout/tagout, and occasionally welding or fabricating as needed. Strong teamwork and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work in a strong safety-focused environment.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Demonstrate mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Identify and resolve general equipment safety hazards and perform safety repairs as directed.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, diagnose faults, and repair as needed.
• Use maintenance schedules to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform welding, grinding, fabrication, and flame cutting for general facility repairs.
• Interpret schematics, prints, diagrams, and oral instructions.
• Operate in accordance with Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Remove snow and ice when weather conditions warrant.
• May assist Maintenance Technician III and develop technical skills.
• Provide training and guidance to other Maintenance Technicians.
