Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD. This position offers an hourly rate of $33.50, with core hours from 7 am to 3:30 pm. You will perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and support Technician I’s as directed.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or an associate's degree with at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience in CNC machining maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment with minimal supervision.
• Construct and alter physical facilities for improvements.
• Assist in complex maintenance issues.

Skills

Complies with national and local safety standards

Understanding of precision gauging instruments

Ability to work independently

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Education
