Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER ITD division in Camarillo is hiring a Maintenance Technician. Core hours are 6:00am–2:30pm, Mon–Fri, with possible overtime.

The role involves troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, performing preventive maintenance, and completing a variety of repair tasks to keep equipment reliable. We welcome candidates with at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical).
Must reside within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA.
U.S. person for export-controlled information eligibility.

Responsibilities

Support and comply with EHS policies.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with little supervision.
Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) and planned shutdown work to improve equipment reliability.
Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities including painting, drywall, parking lots, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and roof.
Perform basic electrical work (120V) and support higher-voltage systems as qualified.
Operate maintenance work order system to complete assignments and provide feedback.
Read and understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
Assist with motor control, starters, and basic troubleshooting of electrical components.
Perform welding and metal repair to restore or improve equipment.
