Job summary

Heidelberg Materials US Cement LLC is seeking a Serviceman II to perform skilled maintenance and repairs at our cement plant. You will handle preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure reliable operation.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform component repairs or replacements, weld as needed, and adhere to safety and environmental regulations. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in our on-site facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred (cement, mining, or similar).
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical (up to 480V) and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of PLC logic a plus.
• Welding skills (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication ability.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment (conveyors, crushers, kilns, mills, mobile equipment).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Repair/overhaul components such as bearings, gearboxes, motors, pumps, instrumentation.
