Job summary

The Serviceman II at Heidelberg Materials US Cement LLC performs skilled maintenance and repairs on a range of plant equipment to ensure reliability and safety in the cement operation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication, and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Candidates should have 3–5 years in heavy industry and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical up to 480V, and hydraulic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, crushers, kilns, mills and mobile equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions using schematics and tools.
• Repair, replace and overhaul bearings, gearboxes, motors, pumps, and instrumentation.
• Weld, fabricate and modify components as needed for repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures; participate in on-call rotations.
