Position Overview:

The Engineering Technician performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting efficient plant operations. Candidates should have strong electrical and mechanical skills, and be capable of obtaining necessary licenses for work with boilers, refrigeration, and other equipment. Continuous training is essential due to technological advancements. Flexibility to rotate job assignments across engineering and production is required, along with maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
• Respond to equipment stoppages and troubleshoot issues
• Replace worn or defective parts and repair machinery
• Operate shop tools and make parts as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications:

One or more years of technical experience or training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electronics, electrical repairs, or industrial equipment. A high school diploma plus vocational/technical certification or equivalent military/training is required. Experience with SAP is preferred.
