Position Overview:

Engineering Technicians perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to support efficient plant operations. Candidates should possess strong electrical and mechanical skills, and hold or be capable of obtaining necessary licenses for work with boilers, refrigeration, and related equipment. Ongoing training and technological adaptability are essential. Technicians must be flexible to rotate between engineering and production tasks and contribute to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Respond to equipment stoppages, troubleshoot, and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate shop tools and make parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of experience as a Technician, or formal training in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electronics, electrical repairs, or industrial equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus vocational/technical certification courses lasting at least 9-12 months. Military training, related technical training, or two or more years of college may substitute for vocational training. Completion of relevant courses such as AIB maintenance engineering is also acceptable.
