Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and reliability, with a strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

The position is union-based with a posted wage of $32.44/hr and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, wellness programs, STD, life insurance, 401(k) and pension.

Qualifications

Hands-on maintenance experience.
Training in hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical.
Boilers license required.
Must pass a Comprehensive Maintenance Aptitude Test with a score of 75% or better.

Responsibilities

Fix equipment fast to reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot machine problems using electrical testers, blueprints and schematics.
Maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Self directed completion of Maintenance requisitions.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep production smooth.
Support a safe, high-performance environment.
