Job summary

Calgon Carbon Corporation – Crosby Plant in Crosby, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician. You will repair, install and maintain plant equipment, coordinate maintenance with vendors, and ensure safety standards are met, with a 40-hour workweek and hybrid schedules on occasion.

Experience in manufacturing/maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license are required. Opportunities for growth and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year technical certificate is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing/maintenance experience required.
• 5 years’ maintenance technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, alter and calibrate plant equipment and facilities per codes and best practices.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance work requests and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Keep maintenance records, equipment files and spare parts inventories up to date.
• Assist with plant improvements and coordinate external vendors on site.
• Ensure safety policies are followed; participate in safety meetings and training.
• Develop and implement Preventive/Predictive maintenance plans.
