Job summary

CAMACO LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment and facilities in optimal condition. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, install and commission new and rebuilt equipment, operate diverse machinery, and maintain building systems across shifts in a hybrid environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, Journeyman status or equivalent training, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus Journeyman status in Machine Repair or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• 3+ years of related work experience.
• Completion of Department Training Phases I & II.
• Familiarity with NEC and ANSI codes.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair machines.
• Computer and math skills sufficient for department tasks.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to plant operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair problems with plant machinery and equipment.
• Support installation of new and rebuilt equipment.
• Operate machinery, tools, gauges, forklift, and booms.
• Electrical 480 v 3 phase wiring, lighting, presses and welders.
• Installation of plumbing, water, drain and air systems for presses and welders.
• Maintain building and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
