Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment. This safety-sensitive role requires mechanical and technical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, maintaining records, and supporting health, safety, and Lean initiatives. A technical degree or certificate and 3–5 years in an industrial setting are preferred.

• Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and related problems on machinery and perform timely repairs.
• Establish appropriate maintenance frequency and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform facility/building maintenance and minor repairs; keep a clean, safe work area.
• Dismantle defective machines and install repaired equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
• Coordinate work with contractors and supervise outside personnel when needed.
• Support health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives.
